Can I bring my kids?

"No Place like Home" is an adult Conference. Nursing babies are always welcome. Please be mindful that if your baby is crying you take her out as to not disturb the other attendees. There will be a teen conference for 12-18 year old youth. Please arrange child care for your other children so that you can fully participate in and enjoy the conference.

Will there be food available at the Conference?

We will be serving a light meal and dessert on Friday night. There is also a restaurant at the hotel. Houston has many great restaurants if you are willing to drive. Ask for a suggestion at our registration table and we will be happy to help. To make things easier, a boxed lunch for Saturday is available to purchase in advance so that you can stay on location. There are a handful of fast food options near the hotel such as Subway, Jack in the Box, and Taco Bell.

What ages can attend the youth conference?

Youth ages 12-18 can attend the Teen Conference.

Is this a Texas Conference?

The National LDS Homeschool Association is a national organization. We have attendees, vendors and speakers coming from all over the country.

Can I attend both the Family Summit and the Homeschool Conference?

Yes! You can purchase a ticket to the homeschool conference and then add a family summit upgrade to your ticket for $15. Your spouse can come FREE to the Family Summit with the purchase of one homeschool ticket plus a Family Summit upgrade.

I don't want to go to the homeschool conference, can I just attend the Family Summit?
