FamilySearch has created a Discovery Center—a unique space filled with fun and interactive family history experiences. It’s family history on a whole new level! These experiences, designed especially for younger generations, help individuals learn about their roots and personal stories, and discover new family connections. Start connecting past, present, and future generations! With iPads, touch screens, and recording studios, coming into the Discovery Center is a great activity for homeschool groups and families.

The Discovery Center is located in the lobby level of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building on Temple Square. Walk-in hours are Monday through Friday between 9 AM and 9 PM, or one can schedule a special time for a group on the website. Saturdays are also available from 9 AM to 5 PM.
